We like to ensure all pearls don't go to waste hence us making these affordable stud options.
Great for those who aren't too fussed or even great gifts for younger pearl wearers without the worry of loosing $$$ worth of jewellery.
925 sterling silver studs and butterfly, set with 9mm Tahitian black pearls.
Chosen at random.
#28-38
Our pearls come from the beautiful lagoons of French Polynesia. They take between 12-18 months to grow before being carefully harvested, and with this, they have natural imperfections such as dimples, sometimes rings and colour variations created by the molluscs they are grown in. Like us as people, each individual pearl is unique and their characteristics make them beautiful in their own right.
We try photograph the pearls to the best of our ability to depict these aspects but please note we do not in anyway claim to use perfect or top grade pearls.
However if you are looking for pearls with no imperfections we can quote these accordingly.

We get many people asking about the differences between gold plating, vermeil, gold fill and solid gold.
Below is a bit of information about the various options and their properties.
GOLD PLATED, VERMEIL & GOLD FILL
As with all gold plating, vermeil, and gold fill, will over time rub and wear off however they are different durability wise. This is because they are gold which is plated or layers over a base metal.
We recommend gold plated jewellery is only worn as occasion rather than every day to retain the colour. It is often electroplated to a base metal and therefore the gold content is a thin coating (normally less than 0.05%) The base metal for gold plating can either be nickel, brass, stainless steel, sterling silver or copper.
Vermeil is more durable than gold plating but again it is advised items of this nature are only worn on occasion. It is often plated over sterling silver and there when tarnished or rubbed off will show a silver metal below.
Gold Fill is a much heavier coated metal type and therefore is the most durable of the three. With gold fill, the gold layer makes up 5% of the metal weight and therefore a much heavier layer over the base metal (normally jeweller's brass). With good care it can last a lifetime or longer as it is bonded differently to the base metal than vermeil and gold plate and therefore does not tarnish or chip off.
SOLD GOLD AND HOLLOW GOLD
All products that are labelled as being 9kt, 10kt, 14kt, 18kt (sometimes listed as ct rather than kt) are just that, they are not a plated or layered gold and are made of the alloys which make up the various golds. Some chains are hollow gold rather than solid links, this makes the chain lighter and much more affordable. If you are unsure please let us know and we can clarify any queries you may have.
STERLING SILVER
All our silver products are 925 sterling silver.
Please refrain from wearing all these metals in the shower, while bathing or swimming. Also avoid having them come in contact with body lotions, perfumes, soaps or any other chemical substances and always wipe down with a jeweller's cloth or a dry lint free cloth after wearing to avoid acid from the skin affecting the metal.
We source all our metals, chains and settings and components from NZ, Australia, USA and Hong Kong.

Each stone is individual so there may be some slight variations in colour and size. These semi-precious gemstones aren’t as hard as precious gemstones like diamonds. Therefore they may have some subtle inclusions, natural marks or imperfections.
Most stones are imperfect and that's ok so it’s important when you purchase your jewellery that you are aware of this. In all cases we attempt to use the best quality gems we have available suitable for the piece. Each item is made to order.
Unless the goods are damaged or defective or not as specified in your order, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
If the goods were faulty or incorrect then the cost of return postage will be refunded to you.
Refunds will not be given if the goods have been damaged by you, this includes damage caused by inadequate packaging by you when returning goods.
REPAIRSWe will repair any manufacturing fault at no cost within 3 months of the purchase date. Proof of purchase is required.
Manufacturing faults do not include: Lost, chipped, cracked or broken gemstones. Pearls that have been damaged or knocked out of their settings. Pearls that have lost lustre or nacre. Broken chains. General wear and tear including rings that have bent out of shape, oxidisation of metals or plating that has worn off.
If you would like any of the above repairs made, we can assess the damage and will let you know the cost before proceeding.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Our pieces are made from quality materials and will last for many years if cared for correctly. We have popped together the below tips to keeping your jewellery looking its best and lasting a long life.
How to store your jewellery:
Tarnish proof boxes or individual bags are the best way of keeping your jewellery untarnished and reduce scratching. Many people also get anti-tarnish tabs in a velvet lined jewellery box. Please ensure they are kept in a cool, dry discrete place or in a safe.
When to wear your jewellery:
We recommend that you avoid wearing your jewellery whilst cleaning, gardening, swimming/showering and particularly when doing sporting and gym activities.
Remember gold and silver are relatively soft metals and damaging the setting or chain can compromise the safety of the stones and pearls. We always suggest precious jewellery is saved for wearing on occasion rather than everyday.
For all pearl jewellery we say avoid wearing them in pools, showers, saunas or in hot environments as heat can break down the jeweller's glue used when setting the pearls. We also suggest avoiding wearing rings whist doing dishes. Also avoid knocking any setting, a pearl is often held with a glued single pin and therefore can be knocked out of the setting if not cared for properly.
Also apply cosmetics, moisturizers and perfumes prior to putting on your jewellery.
How to clean your jewellery:
We do offer jewellery cleaning and polishing services. Please contact us if you would like to know more about these services and what we can do to bring your jewellery back to life.
After wearing we recommend to wipe jewellery with a soft lint free cloth. A soft fabric like velvet or cotton make a good cloth to wipe your pieces down.
You can also clean your jewellery in warm water and diluted dish washing liquid (one drop to 1/4 cup warm water). Allow your jewellery to soak for 10 minutes then use a soft tooth brush to clean areas like engraving, details and behind stones.
Other care for your jewellery:
Always ensure your jewellery is covered by your insurance policy and have a safe place for them to be stored when not being worn. Some insurance policies require valuation of higher value items so be sure to clarify this with them to ensure your jewellery is covered.
